First off I’d like to say, there are some diehard fans out there who love their blogs and are devoted to the authors of those blogs. It’s wonderful to see all of the support you are showing towards the blogs you enjoy so much.
Three blogs are at the forefront of the contest. I recommend that everyone advertise the contest on their blog to get some more votes. Trust me when I say that if you have some devoted followers, they would be more than happy to vote for you.
Having gotten that out of the way, I need to go over some reminders. You can only vote once. Some people have gotten a little carried away and either voted for the same person more than once, or for a few different blogs.
If I see that there is more than one vote by the same person, I WILL BE DELETING THAT PERSON ENTIRELY. Unfortunately, I hate to do it, but this contest needs to be as fair as possible.
I do have the ability to create a poll, but decided to go the old-fashioned way so that you would receive the benefit of having your blog mentioned. I have found that people will check in to see who is being mentioned in the contest and will go check out that blog. This is a great way for you to get some more followers. I love when people add their links for that very reason. If I can help you get more traffic, I am thrilled to have helped.
One last thing I ‘d like to mention is that you should vote for your own blog if you aren’t voting for someone else. If nothing else, it will help you to get more views to your site.
Good luck to everyone, and thanks for understanding the need for some rigid rules.
