After a lot of debating, I have decided to stretch my wings and move my site. I am looking for a good hosting website and will be getting my own domain name.
The reason for this decision is that I am looking to expand my blog and take advantage of opportunities that I just am unable to do here. I am thinking of adding some advertisement and I might sell some affiliated products. I would also like to put together a few ebooks and have been asked to collaborate on some online classes. Basically, it’s time. I am ready to take that next giant step and create a business.
Why am I mentioning this to you? I have found that the majority of my readers are bloggers. I have always shared what I have learned, and would like to continue to make my path transparent to others who might be interested in taking the same type of leap.
I think that part of the fun of having a blog has been to relate the ups and downs of a persons journey. Everyone can relate because we are all just trying to find our way in life. Tweaking things here and there is a natural way to create a positive and fulfilling outcome.
As always, I will be brutally honest. I will let you know what has and hasn’t worked for me and why. I will also be sharing some links that I find valuable along the way.
If you have taken this path and would like to share any experience you have had, I would love to hear about it. In fact, if you are up for it, I would be happy to have you do a guest post. I would feature you and advertise the heck out of your post and your own personal site. Trust me when I say that you will see tremendous traffic flow come your way.
So as always, thanks for the support and the wonderful comments. Stay tuned for future posts devoted to a whole new undertaking.

Wow, you are certainly busy. Add your links when you get up and running. Hopefully you’ll see even more traffic.
Thank you Wendy. Lovely to have your support. I wish you all the best and look forwarded to staying updated on your progress.
Thanks so much. I really appreciate it.
Good luck with the move. I’d recommend ipage or hostgator for your new home.
Thanks so much for the advice.
Congrats! This is so exciting. I for one am excited to come along for the ride and see where you’re headed and what exciting things you will be doing!

Thanks so much.
I vote you move your blog over to weebly.com! Okay, that was a shameless plug but I’ll have you know I am in no way affiliated with Weebly and am not getting paid to advertise for them. However, I love them so much and want them to succeed because I think they’re websites are amazingly easy to navigate, set up, add to and all the things you need. If you’re one like me who thinks html means Hers To Meaningly Love then Weeby agrees with us!
And, of course congratulations! *Squueee!* It’s awesome to see you grow and flourish!
Hi Stephanie, I have been going back and forth between a few options and I think I had settled on iPage. I haven’t heard about Weeby, but I think I’ll check them out. Thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it.
I can see you expanding Wendy. I’ve seen you writing a lot this year and involved in a lot of social media. Looks like it’s time for you and I’m sure you’ll do well. Good luck and keep us posted what you decide to do and where you go. I’m lovin’ your growth — in leaps and bounds!
Thanks so much Pat. Your comment really touched me. I just made my husband read it because I thought it was so sweet.
Hi Wendy,
I am so happy for you in your move. I really hope that it goes well for you. I agree with Matt’s statement - that it may be some short-term pain. Every time I tweak something on my blog, there is some pain. The downside is the inconvenience of having to fix something. The upside is that I am just a little bit more tech savvy. I still haven’t figured out how I lost 90% of my subscribers, but as soon as I find out I’ll let you so it doesn’t happen to you. If you know of anyone that can help, I’d love and appreciate the help. Thank you for the post and for helping us all help each other. Priceless.

Hi Karina,
I can’t believe you are still dealing with that problem. i hope someone reads your comment and has a good suggestion. That’s a horrible situation. Wishing you the best.
Good luck - it’s short term pain, for long term gain.
Thanks so much.
Wishing you so well on this new journey Wendy! I have just had my blogs made into an eBook and am so impressed. You may want to investigate Rupert Waddington, http://www.ebookstudio.org.uk - promotional pdf eBooks
