Article by Wendy McCance
Have you ever noticed how the world begins to change around you when you put out a ton of energy in a particular area? I have been doing interviews for a while and I’m now moving into guest blog posts. The reason? I enjoy the writing community and these are ways I have found to support this wonderful group of people.
There is something extraordinary about wanting to support and lift up those around you. There are people who are just starting out as a blogger. There are those taking a chance on their writing skills as a possible career choice. It can be daunting to try to find your footing. Having people around you with encouragement, sound advice, and some opportunities for you to showcase what you’re made of is incredible. These are people you don’t personally know and the common connection is writing. I love seeing people who are showing such kindness and warmth for no reason other than it’s what they are made up of, it’s their authentic self.
I have been fortunate to see the world a bit differently since I began to show my support. Other writers have appeared out of the woodwork showing how much they care as well. I feel like I have magnetically attracted some incredible people to my blog and in turn they have directed me towards theirs.
I have been thrilled to find that these are people with the same good-hearted intentions. It warms my heart to find these blogs and see other people who have joined together with some support, good advice and most of all opportunities for their fellow writers to shine.
I would like to direct you to a blog that really impressed me with the kindness they were showing towards other writers (especially those who are new). I have always believed that the world is bigger than we think and that there truly is room for all of us to gain success while being there for each other. The blog I am mentioning is: http://bellybuttonblues.wordpress.com
If you know of other blogs where people are helping each other succeed, please leave the link in the comment section. It would be great to give these blogs some extra press. If you leave a comment with a link to a blog that is just for advertisement sake and isn’t offering any help, advice or support I will be deleting the comment.

I’m such a believer in the law of Attraction and I LOVE this post. I’ve been trying to find my “freelance writer” footing for some time now and this post is just what I needed to keep pushing forward!
I have found that writers are very supportive of upcoming writers. Such a great community of people! Here’s to attracting more positive and supportive writing friends 2014 and forward!

Thank you for the opportunity to share and uplift fellow bloggers. One of my favorite blogs belongs to Susan Cooper. She blogs at http://findingourwaynow.com/ She is a great story teller, artist, cook, a very multi-talented ‘friend’. I feel very honored to count her among my blogger friends. If you stop by her blog, you will not be disappointed.
