Sometimes all you need is a quote to really change the way you look at a situation. A simple sentence or a couple of words can have such a large impact when you are scared, have doubts or need reassurance. Quotes can be truly remarkable and quite powerful. They can stick with you for years and help pull you up and keep you moving when you need it most.
My oldest daughter has been collecting quotes since high school that have really made an impression on her. She is a very determined individual and has even taken favorite quotes and placed them on the wall in a corner of her room as reminders. She says it helps her to stay on track. She finds motivation and is able to get past disappointment when she reads the quotes she hand-picked for her wall.
Below is a list of my personal favorite quotes. Some motivate and others are just perspectives about life that I fell in love with. I hope they speak to you as they have to me.

Three more I like:
“The more you put in a brain, the more it will hold.” (fictional detective Nero Wolfe)
“Money may not buy happiness, but it does provide a much wider choice of miseries.” (Spike Millgan, but I think he stole it from someone else).
“Sir, if you will refrain from telling lies about me, I promise not to tell the truth about you.” (Chauncey Depew, US Senator in the 1920s).
Those are great. My favorite is the second quote.
I like #7 the best.
FYI, #23 has a spelling error in it.
Thanks for the comment and the info on the error.
Bloody great quotes indeed
