  3. Hi again Wendy. I just wanted you to know that I have nominated you for some awards. A bouquet of 3! I know that you have had many and you don’t have to feel obligated to do anything with this, but it is just my way of thanking you for all the great advice you give on this blog. The Sunshine Award is to, well, bring you some sunshine as you do for so many, the Versatile Award speaks for itself, and the Best Moments Award is because you have had many of these here on your site!
Have a great day and if you want to know more the link is: http://sherrimatthewsblog.com/2013/08/13/knighting-people-a-bouquet-of-3-awards/

  8. Greetings from Australia Wendy,
I fully understand where you are coming from, I’ve been asking myself the same questions, especially after having had serious trauma and neck surgery after having several serious car accidents. I’ve made up my mind to gradually give away clothes and belongings to charity that I don’t really need, and make do with the bare minimum, so that I can work yet still do that which I love and am passionate about …”Photography.”
    God bless you

  10. Howdy! gigoid here…. I came by to check out your blog, and will immediately be following… You had me after today’s post, the first I saw, that had zero spelling, punctuation, or grammatical errors that didn’t appear to be either deliberate (artistic license, I use it a lot…) or a typo, which happens to the best of us, including me, on what seems like a daily basis….Any who, I’ll be notified when you post, so I will see you around the comments sections…. take care, & Blessed Be….

      • 🙂 LOL… once you’ve read my blog a time or two more, you will understand my laugh there a little better… Yes, I enjoy ramblings.. mine, and most anyone else’s, too…. so I’ll look forward to yours with anticipation…. New dialogue is one of my favorite things in life these days….

  12. Your mission-your search for inner peace and contentment- reminds me of a beautiful little book I once read by Anne Morrow Lindbergh called Gift from the Sea. I think you would like it!

    • I’ve never heard of it, but now I’m intriqued.  I love inspirational books and well, reading in general.  Thanks for the recommendation.

  13. Hi Wendy! I’m glad you found my blog so that I could find yours in return! My own experience is that we all (at least those of us who are semi-conscious) hit a point in our lives where we ask ourselves if what we have - what we’re creating - is what we really want. I commend you on getting clear on what you want to create in your life and taking steps that you believe will lead you there. You go girl! xoxo Laura

    • Hi Laura,
Writing this blog has been so rewarding. I swear my brain was stuck on not knowing who I was and what I want in life before I started the blog. When I began the blog, I decided I needed to be completely honest. Not just for myself, but I wanted to be as authentic as possible for the readers. The people, such as yourself that I have spoken with along the way have been amazing. I’m excited for you. You are going to get such a tremendous feeling of validation as well as a ton of love from your readers.

      Sincerely,
      Wendy

  14. Hi Wendy,
As a new blogger, I think you are just brave! It is tough being out there in the public domain, even though it is by choice, and I thought this blog of mine may be useful for you to read http://kateswaffer.com/2012/03/20/optimism-and-blogging/
You will find your own voice, and this will change as your writing changes you. Your readers will also change you, and this is truly a blessing (often in disguise).
And thanks for swinging by my blog too, glad you have enoyed it so far.
Speak up, speak out, do your own thing.
    Kate 🙂

  15. Hi Wendy,

I read a couple of you blogs. They are a little mixed up and need more structure. You will find it easier if you decide the ending before you start writing and work towards that as you write. It takes time to get into being able to write a blog a day and take them well structured and interesting.

    • Hi Mike, I always appreciate different points of view. Thank you for your critique. I’m sure my blog isnn’t as polished as some blogs you have read. I have only been blogging for a few weeks. Writing is completely new to me. Hopefully you are enjoying the stories enough to continue to come back and watch me grow.
